At Northwest Garden Domes we've developed a unique line of high quality food cellars. You know... like grandma and grandpa had out on the farm. A cool, dry place to store your fruits, vegetables and other food items, until you're ready to put them on the table at meal time. Our food cellars can be installed on almost any size lot and we have several models to choose from to fit your needs and terrain.

Two main types of root cellars are available. A full basement style and a daylight basement style. Full basement style cellars are built on flat ground and a ladder is used or a stairway/ramp is excavated to access a door. A daylight basement style is excavated into a hillside with one wall exposed and a door for easy access. A common size is 8' W x 10' L with a 7' to 8' ceiling.
